Shipping policy

This Shipping Policy covers orders placed on the Site operated by Njord Gear LLC ("Njord Gear," "we," "us").

Where we ship

We ship to the United States and Canada. The shipping options available for your address are shown at checkout before you pay.

Processing time

Orders are processed and handed to the carrier within 48 hours (2 business days) of purchase. Orders placed on weekends or U.S. holidays begin processing the next business day. All orders ship from our warehouse in Chicago, Illinois.

Shipping methods, cost and delivery estimates

  • Free standard shipping on orders to the U.S. and Canada. Standard orders ship by USPS or UPS and usually arrive within 3–7 business days after dispatch.
  • Express shipping is available at checkout for an extra fee. The cost and delivery estimate are shown before you pay.

Delivery times are estimates that start once your order leaves our warehouse. They can be affected by carrier delays, weather, peak-season volume, or remote and rural addresses.

If we can't ship on time

If we can't ship your order within the time stated above (or within 30 days if no time was stated), we'll email you with a revised ship date. You can then agree to the new date or cancel for a full refund. If we can't ship at all, we'll cancel the order and refund you in full.

Tracking

When your order ships, we'll email you the carrier name and a tracking link. You can also track it on our Track Your Order page.

Duties and taxes

Sales tax is calculated at checkout where required by law. For Canadian orders, we cover any import duties. If a carrier ever asks you to pay import fees, contact us and we'll take care of it.

Lost, stolen or damaged packages

  • If tracking shows no movement for 7 business days, or the package shows as delivered but you can't find it, email us and we'll open a claim with the carrier.
  • If you added shipping protection at checkout, we'll help you file the claim with that provider.
  • If your order arrives damaged, email us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and photos.

Address changes and cancellations

Email us as soon as possible to change an address or cancel an order. We can usually make changes before the order ships. Once an order has shipped, please use our Refund Policy. Please double-check your address at checkout. We aren't responsible for packages delivered to an incorrect address you entered, but we'll help where we can.
